My husband and I moved into Bradfield Farms in July
1997. Bradfield Farms was exactly what I was looking for in a
neighborhood. I traveled quite a bit for the first 5 years we lived
here and then I worked in Atlanta for a year and was only home on
weekends. This neighborhood has been a great place to come home to for
the past nine years for me and I am confident it will continue to be.
Now that I am actually working here and have no plans to travel for
work anymore (been there, done that), it is time to offer my time and
commitment to ensure that Bradfield Farms continues to be a place all
of us want to come home to.
I care about this community and plan on staying
here and that is why I am offering to run for the HOA Board of
Directors. On a personal side, I have been married to my wonderful
husband for 15 years and have worked in the Information Technology
industry most of my career.
While working as a software developer I have
learned to work with all sorts of great people - from the guys who dye
the towels up at Fieldcrest Cannon to the managers working at
BellSouth in Atlanta. I have spent my career interacting with end
users in order to understand their requirements. I am pretty
straightforward and honest. I have always been able to work with
anyone and I will certainly do my best to help the Board maintain and
improve the community management, interaction with residents and
volunteer recruitment efforts.
