My wife
Debbie and I have lived in the neighborhood for 16 years. Our two
children have had the pleasure of being raised here. We not only saw
the community being built, we helped promote it on a Centex
commercial. We were asked to be in the commercial after Centex was
told that my extended family had purchased four homes in Bradfield
Farms. Now, with 14 members of my family currently living in five
homes in this neighborhood, I have a vested interest in helping our
Board maintain this well kept, friendly community that we all enjoy.
I have
worked for an international printing company for the past 18 years,
first as a Service Technician and now as an Assistant Service Manager.
Our service area covers the Carolinas and southern Virginia where we
have 16 technicians. We interact with a wide variety of customers and
challenging service issues daily. I volunteer my services at our local
church weekly in the media production studios.
During the
time I have been Treasurer of the HOA, we have secured the reserves of
the HOA by diversifying our deposits in accounts in numerous banks,
each of which now has account balances under FDIC limits, where we
were over FDIC limits in the past. Over these past two years, the
reserves of the HOA have grown by over 12 % due to our aggressive
pursuit of the highest interest rates available for our deposits.
I look
forward to the opportunity to continue to serve on the Board and to
work with and for my friends and family and neighbors here in the
place we all call home.
