Head Coach -
Eric McQueen
Hi swimmers! It’s
about that time again: suits, goggles, fun, and more fun. My name is
Coach Eric McQueen and I wanted to introduce myself. I am very excited
for the upcoming season and I look forward to meeting each and every
one of you. I have a bunch of new and exciting activities planned for
the team this summer season. We are going to have a lot of fun, but we
are also going to work very hard to reach all of our team and
individual goals. Let’s try and make the 2010 Bradfield Farms swim
season the best season ever, in and out of the pool. So get those
suits out, dust off your goggles and let’s get ready to make a splash
this season!

little background info on Coach Eric:
Eric McQueen joins us with 20 years
experience in the sport of swimming. From 1997-2000 Eric was a
four-time Florida High School State Champion and a National High
School Mythical Champion. During that time he was also a U.S. Open
qualifier, Junior National finalist and champion, and Senior National
Qualifier. After a successful swimming career in Florida Eric was a
member of the Virginia Tech Swimming and Diving team where he earned
Big East Conference honors as a finalist and runner-up champion.
Eric
has carried over his passion for the sport to the next generation of
swimming athletes. He not only brings his knowledge as a former
athlete, but also as a coach where he directed the careers of numerous
young swimmers in both Virginia and Florida. |
Assistant Coach - Kelly Rust
My name is Kelly Rust. I am
graduating in December from The University of North Carolina at
Charlotte with a degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in
Science. I swam competitively for 12 years. I swam for a small town
team in Valdese, North Carolina and then for East Burke High School in
Icard, North Carolina. I am so excited to be coaching a sport that I
have a lot of love for. LET’S GO BARRACUDAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
